Blessing of the "Capital City wine"

"Maestro" is the name of the new "Capital city wine" of St. Pölten in 2018.

The capital city wine of St. Pölten has been blessed on November 9th at the winery WINZER KREMS, Sandgrube 13. The Grüner Veltliner of the vintage 2017 is called "Maestro" and has been given the name from three godfathers, Mayors of St. Pölten and Krems, Mag. Matthias Stadler and Dr. Reinhard Resch, as well as the principal of the Music School in St. Pölten, Dr. Alfred Kellner.  The Music School in St. Pölten, which also includes the Academy of Fine Arts, will celebrate its 180th anniversary in 2018. Thus, the wine was given the melodic name of "Maestro" and was dedicated to that cultural institution.
