Every year, the "Vin Cambridge Food & Wine Societe" in Tornto, Canada, awards the title "Winemaker of the year" to an important person of the international wine community. After famous Robert Mondavi some years ago, in 2010 the cellar master of Winzer Krems, Franz Arndorfer, achieved this honour.
The jury based its decision on the long lasting export success of Winzer Krems in Canada and the consequent high quality of the wines of Sandgrube 13.
